Who are we?
The Income Security Network is a privately-owned organization based in Melbourne, Australia, with members all around the world. Founder and CEO, John Counsel, established it in 1995 as an informal education and support network for people wanting to achieve financial freedom for themselves and their families through the creation of multiple, profitable, secure, long term residual income streams — and avoid the parasites and predators who lie in wait to prey on the ignorant, inexperienced and unwary.
Our position is simple: in the 21st century, there is NO security in a job, a business of your own, investments or a pension.
The ONLY security we ever truly have is what we create for ourselves, doing what we KNOW. (Because those who don't know what to do — and why and how to do it — get eaten alive by those who do know.)
Our role is to analyze and evaluate income opportunities of all kinds, to educate our members, alert them to opportunities we believe to be worthwhile, warn them against scams and questionable schemes or practices, risks and changing regulatory environments.
We also publish low-cost or free reports, white papers, ebooks and news bulletins. There's no specific publishing schedule — we respond to events and changes as we become aware of them.

We have an informal advisory board made up of experienced professionals in a variety of relevant fields. We seek their input on publications, training programs, and involve them in online seminars we present from time to time. They include experienced professionals actively involved at the highest levels in banking, finance, law, government regulation and business.
